Bio:
Teresa received B.S. degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Minnesota. As a fourth year graduate student, her present research focus in the lab is the development of a multilayer 3D micromachined hardware platform for scalable circuit QED systems. Using microfabrication, microwave engineering and simulation, her goal is to design and test novel layouts of qubits and high-Q superconducting cavities that combine the scalability potential of planar fabrication with the coherence advantage of 3D devices. Teresa also loves the outdoors and enjoys running, hiking and rock climbing.
